Anna Joyce Register

Anna Joyce (Hughett) Register, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Joyce was born in Robbins, Tennessee. She had a full life before she ever entered real estate, but when she did, she dove in! She enjoyed a long, rewarding career with Townsend Real Estate. Joyce was Townsend's first agent over 32 years ago. Joyce loved her life, her friends and family, loved her real estate career, and loved her clients - many of whom became her lifelong friends. Joyce had a smile and laugh that could light up a room, had a zest for life and was game for anything! She treated all her clients and friends like family and if she ever called you 'darlin,' you were in! Though Joyce lived and breathed real estate, she also loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids, and time in her condo at the beach. Joyce is survived by her sons Richard Swenfurth and his wife Shannon of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Jimmy Brown and wife Cinde of St. George, Utah, Grandchildren Haleigh Swenfurth, Paige Miller, E.J. Miller and Justin Miller all of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Jessee Brown and Justin Bianco of St. George, Utah, Great-Granddaughters Lily Faircloth & Olivia Rose Seymore of Hope Mills, North Carolina, Brother Mack Hughett and wife Charlene of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sisters Faye and husband Bill Baird of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brenda and husband Marty Shoemaker of Robbins, Tennessee, very special Brother-In-Law Joe Snader of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Sister-In-Law Barbra Hughett of Hamilton, Ohio, Brother-In-Law Spencer Brummett of Dayton, Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter Vicki Sue Walters, her parents Charlie Russell and Grace Hughett, sister Juanella and husband Mason Foster, sister Novella and husband Arlie Overton, sister Marcella Snader, sister Louella and husband Tom Carlton, brother Russell (R.J.) Hughett, sister Charlotte Brummett, and brother Charles Ray Hughett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2800 Breezewood Avenue, Suite 100, Fayetteville, NC 28303. At a later time, there will be a graveside service for immediate family only.
