In Loving Memory of Pamela Hope Hales Holmes It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ms. Pamela Hope Hales Holmes, 70, of Fayetteville, NC. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who left us on February 1, 2024, surrounded by her children. Pam was born to Milton and Elsie Hales on May 8, 1953, and was raised with sisters Sylvia, and Glenda. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. She is survived by her two devoted children Autumn Hope Cano-Guin with husband Michael, and John Anderson Holmes II with wife Iris. Her legacy extends through seven grandchildren, Joshua Guin with wife Chelsea, Chaeli Guin, Storm Stanley with wife Samantha, Ashleigh Stanley with fiance Josh, Merril Stanley, Ethan Holmes with girlfriend Jenna, and Sydney Brklycica, seven great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces, each a testament to the love and family bonds she fostered. Pam was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvia Rogers (with children Elizabeth, Chuck, and Joe), and Glenda Shooter (with children Anna, and Bradley). Pam and Sylvia were inseparable as they were closer in age. Pam was a favored aunt for Sylvia’s children, Elizabeth, Chuck, and Joe and that relationship extended to her great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Madison, Jacob, Tristan, Patrick, Tami, Benjamin, Charlie, Sarah, and Helen. Her impact reached far beyond her immediate family, as she was a pillar of strength for friends and her community. She worked for many years at Kelly’s Cleaners, touching the hearts of all she saw each day. Pam will be remembered for the positive influence she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May Pam rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her. *A Celebration of Life will take place at Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Roseboro, NC at 10:30 am on February 17, 2024.
