Ms. Kathleen "Cat" Blouin, 50, of Spring Lake, peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, in her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was raised by Jack and Anne Young of New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her brother, Chris Dix. There will be a "Celebration of Life" service on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 7 p.m. at 911 Rainey Drive, Spring Lake. Carlton Bethea will be officiating the service. She is survived by her partner, Patsy Konen of Spring Lake; daughters, Mya Jones, and Melanie Dix of the home, and Kerri Dix; sons, Branden Blouin and Randy Blouin; sisters, Cissy (Dave) Robinson of S.C., Karen Walsh of Florida, Shelley German of New Hampshire, Joanie Seeley of Florida; brothers, John Young and Joe Young, both of Florida; seven grandchildren; and Laura Doyle who Cat raised as her own daughter.
