Eva-Maria Reymund Morrell

February 15, 1942 - February 19, 2022

Eva-Maria Reymund Morrell, 80, of Fayetteville, NC, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Eva was born February 15, 1942 in Guben, Germany to the late Rudolph and Gisela Reymund. Left to cherish her memory are her son and wife Andrew and Paula Morrell, son and wife Frank and Wendy Morrell, daughter and husband Toni and David Barnett, grandson David Barnett, Jr., granddaughter Amy Morrell, granddaughter and husband Alex and John Smith, grandson Nathan Barnett; great-grandchildren Evan Barnett and Sage Smith, and three brothers, Peter Reymund, Stephan Reymund, and Udo Welz. Eva was a wonderful mother, grandmother/great-grandmother (Nana), best friend, and so much more. She was a devout Christian, an active member of the Covenant Love Church, her prayer group which was a very important part of her life, and the “musketeers” at her rehab center. She loved God and her family with all her heart and truly enjoyed travelling and spending time with family in Germany, Alaska, Arizona, and Georgia. She loved telling stories of her many adventures with friends and family. She had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a hand, or an ear, to anyone. Eva will be missed and will continue to be loved forever and always as she watches her family and friends from above. A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held, in lieu of a service.
