Eva Marie Beavers

Ms. Eva Marie Beavers, 90, of Fayetteville passed away in her home on November 20, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, MSG Louis Beavers and grandson, Jeremy Neal Shaw. Eva was born in East Berlin, Germany on July 16, 1930 and at the age of 15, she survived the Dresden, Germany bombing of her town. After moving to the U.S., she worked as an LPN and as a translator (she knew several languages) and becoming a U.S. citizen was her proudest moment. She loved all kids, all animals, and was a caring soul. She enjoyed crocheting but loved Bingo most of all. She was a loving mother, a wonderful friend, and will be missed greatly. She is survived by her children, Amber Davis (Mike) Shaw of Linden; James Michael (Bethania) Davis of Bladenboro; David Louis (Trishia) Beavers of Riegelwood; Thomas Mark Beavers of Fayetteville; Christopher Patrick (Nina) Beavers of Henrico, VA; Kenneth Whitney (Pam) Beavers of Wilmington; and Robin Kimberly Beaver and spouse David Sykes of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren, Louis, Melanie, John, Brittny, Skyy, Michael Jr., Kayla, Whit, Jeremy, Victor, Evan, Jeffrey, Jerry (Shannon), and 7 great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Daniella, Edgar, Isla, John Lucas, Harley and Aric. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at noon at Sandhills Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC.
