Elizabeth Ann Fish

She was born in Hendersonville, NC and resided with her late husband Richard T. Fish in Enka, NC. Elizabeth, also known as “Booster”, was the daughter of the late Harrison Ford of Madison County, NC and the late Allie Hyder of Hendersonville, NC. She retired from American Enka Corporation and also worked at Bill Stanley’s Barbecue and Bluegrass in Asheville, NC. In 1990 she moved to Fayetteville, NC with her daughter and son-in-law. Where she was a member of Mission of Faith Ministry and traveled to parts of West Virginia helping feed and minister to those in need. Preceding her death are 2 sisters Nettie Mae Currier of California, Joanne Davis of Enka, NC and 3 brothers Willard Lindsey of Florida, Tommy Taylor of Hendersonville, NC, William Taylor of Candler, NC. Surviving in addition to her son Tony Fish of Enka, NC and daughter Shelia Taylor of Fayetteville, NC, are 5 sisters, 5 brothers, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. The family is planning a Celebration of Her Life this fall in Asheville, NC.
