Betty-Davis Bradshaw Jackson, 76 of Fayetteville, NC went to be with her Lord on 07/08/22 at 11:16 a.m. at Cape Fear Valley Hospital due to complications with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Betty was born on 10/21/45 in Sampson County NC to the late Owen and Bettie Bradshaw of Clinton NC. She was a graduate of Hobbton High School. She owned and operated her own restaurant where she enjoyed serving the Keener community. Betty was a Christian and was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC. She was a loving mother and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her son, Owen Thornton; 4 sisters, Janet B. Jordan, Elsie B. Pope, Della B. Jackson, Hilda B. Bradshaw; and a brother, Franklin D. Bradshaw. She is survived by her husband, William Jackson of Fayetteville, NC; her son, David Thornton of Fayetteville, NC, her daughter, Christy Plata and son-in-law Evan Plata of Spartanburg SC; 4 step-children, Jimmy Jackson and his wife Liz, Betty Roudebush, Patricia Devorak, and Jennifer Tew, all of Fayetteville, NC and three grandchildren, Memory Thornton of Fayetteville, NC; Brittany Thornton of Four Oaks, NC; and Ethan Plata of McAllen, TX; and 1 great grandchild, Henry Owen Thornton, Jr. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries at www.jsm.org; Grace Baptist Church, 6415 Camden Road Unit 107, Hope Mills, NC 28306 or Sunset Harbor First Baptist Church, 3867 Sunset Harbor Road SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.
